What’s Included in a Crewed Charter

What is included in the price of the crewed charter?

A crewed charter is considered “all inclusive” aboard your private yacht with the services of a professional Captain and Chef, 3 meals daily, the standard ships bar and other requested beverages and mixers, fuel, use of on-board sports equipment and all expenses related to the running of the yacht for your charter.

What is NOT included in the price of the crewed charter?

Standard crew gratuity – This is typically 15-20% of the charter rate at your discretion based upon the services provided by your crew. This is paid at the end of your charter directly to the crew, typically in cash (ask for exceptions). It is important to consider this in your overall budget when booking a yacht.

Other cost consideration – The published all-inclusive rates may or may not include scuba diving, scuba equipment, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcohol consumption, off yacht excursions, airport transfers and dockage when requested by the guest. Some yachts may also charge for overnight A/C or cruising permits/taxes. We will be sure to inform you if there are any additional costs you would be subject to with any particular yachts you are considering.

What is the typical cost of a 7 night crewed charter vacation?

This will vary depending on the size, age and amenities of the yacht, the number of guests aboard and the level of luxury services offered on various yachts. In the Virgin Islands, crewed charter yachts typically start at around $12,000 and up for 7 nights inclusive or around $1,700 per person.
