What is Included in a Crewed Yacht Charter?
Your yacht charter is the pinnacle of sailing vacations. A professional Captain and Crew will provide sailing itineraries, adventures, as well as gourmet food and drinks each day. The ships bar along with the soft drinks, beer, and wine are also included. The yachts are fully equipped with comfortable spacious cabins, linens, and water toys to make your stay more enjoyable. Fuel, customs fees, and other fees are typically included as well.

With a wide variety of equipment for water sports Island Life can find you the perfect yacht to enjoy Scuba diving, snorkeling, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, or just lounging in the water. All yachts are equipped with a fast tender to take guests ashore, not to mention water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, and tubing are available on most yachts.
What Special Diets Can be Accommodated on Charter?
Your chef will prepare a menu specifically tailored for your your party. An all-inclusive menu will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine, and the standard ships bar. Your chef is able to accommodate specialty diets and allergies. They will provision your yacht according to your preferences, not to mention plan and execute all of the meals.
Packages are available for guests wishing to engage in meals off the yacht at varying degrees, and the cost of the charter is adjusted accordingly. Will We Need Passports for Our Charter?
If your party is selecting a charter restricted to the U.S. Virgin Islands then your group will not need any additional documentation.
For charters that plan on enjoying the waters of the British Virgin Islands, all guests onboard will be required to have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after the end of the charter. Your Island Life Broker will discuss the options with you at booking confirmation.

The crew will plan with you to create an itinerary full of adventures unique to your vacation. One of the greatest advantages of a private charter vacation is that you get to deviate from your plans at any given moment based on your wishes!
What Is Not Included in Our Charter?
Crew gratuity is standard at 15% to 20% and is not included in the price of the yacht. As your crew will live with you on charter catering to your every need, the service is well earned.
Additional costs may include any meals eaten off the yacht, nights on a dock instead of at anchor if requested by the guests, land based tours and excursions.
